Neurofeedback works similarly to how you learned to ride a bike. Through something called operant conditioning, you learned how to balance through making small adjustments and feeling the feedback of balance or falling. Eventually, with enough feedback and practice time, your brain learned how to ride a bike. And now it’s completely natural!By providing feedback to your, we can teach our brains to get into the optimal state of mind using brainwave-reading EEG headsets and neurofeedback software.
As the EEG feedback tells you what’s happening in your brain in real-time, you can actively train it to find balance! As a result, you can enhance the efficiency of your brain and learn to achieve an optimal state of mind on-demand.
There are over 700 peer-reviewed studies using neurofeedback, showing just how effective it can be. But here are just some high-quality findings from recent, placebo-controlled studies:
In this study, they tested participants on their surgical technique and how quickly they could complete the surgery.
The neurofeedback group showed significant surgical technique improvement and considerably reduced time on task by 26.30%! This suggests that neurofeedback can lead to substantial improvements in both mental and physical speed. [3]
In this study, participants underwent two pistol shooting tasks to evaluate neurofeedback’s effect on shooting performance.
Their accuracy increased around 55.56% over the training! And when comparing the neurofeedback group’s final scores to the control group, we can see the neurofeedback group has around a 75% greater score. What is also interesting to note is that the control group actually reduced in performance, which may indicate a sort of plateau effect in their skill. But the neurofeedback had the opposite trend, suggesting a potential benefit for overcoming skill plateaus. [4]
During this study, they used a well-known visual working memory task called the Delayed Matching to Sample Task. In any competitive game, your visual and spatial awareness is critical for understanding what is happening. If you start to forget this information or don’t absorb it, your game sense will fail.
Participants who had neurofeedback training increased their visual working memory performance by 38.23% over the experiment! [2]
This study used a test called the Mental Rotations Test to test spatial processing and general intelligence. In any competitive environment being smarter with a greater ability to process spatial information is powerful!
As for the results, the neurofeedback group showed a 10.95% increase in their mental rotations scores. And while the control group had a 5.9 increase in performance score, the neurofeedback group had a 12.8 improvement. This is over a 2x advantage for the neurofeedback group over the control! [1]
With scientific results backing neurofeedback, it’s no surprise that many top performers in business, music, and sports are using it. In fact, it is already being used by NASA astronauts, Olympic gold-medalists, and football clubs like AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Chelsea and more:
1. The first step is getting your brain assessed to see what kind of brainwave dysfunctions may be causing performance issues. Here you’ll get to see a snapshot of your own brain activity!
2. The next step is to get a customized training program based on your brain activity and your performance goals, whether that’s to have better learning & memory, reaction time, or general performance.
3. Then you’ll begin to train your brain by playing specialized games or watching videos. When your brainwaves are in the target range, you will advance in the game. Through this real-time monitoring and rewarding, you will condition your brain to access the desired state on-demand.
4. Over the course of your training program, you will start noticing the benefits you’re training for, whether its a boost in memory, concentration, or reaction speed.
5. Each month, we will do a new brain assessment to show you your upgraded brain-activity and begin a new training program based on your new brain activity and performance goals!
Our neurofeedback program uses the Muse EEG headband, which is designed for meditation. We then upgrade it by adding a high-quality electrode and a specialized neurofeedback app.
With this combination, you can get brain-training from the comfort of your own home! This includes a brain assessment, a customized training program, and monthly reports from your own neurofeedback coach!
You get your own online neurofeedback coach who will devise a personalized training plan and monitor your progress remotely so that you achieve the best results. They will also be available for any questions you may have!
The assessment provides a detailed snapshot of your unique brain activity. Then you’ll get custom-built progress reports that track changes and performance over time! This service is usually an additional $199. See details below.
You will get access to the mobile neurofeedback app. The app has access to you tube and various games that help in training your brain based on what your neurofeedback coach has chosen for you.
The Muse headband measures your brain activity using its EEG sensors. We then connect it to a neurofeedback app to get your brain’s real-time measurements and provide neurofeedback training. There are different options for headbands and you will be entitled to a 15% discount when you purchase. Follow the link below for your discount.
This electrode connects directly to the Muse headband and allows brain activity to be measured from any location on the head, and will help in personalizing your neurofeedback programs.
For $199 you will receive a remote brain assessment and individual session with me to review the results and identify key areas for improvement. The assessment incorporates EEG assessment as well as a continuous performance task to assess focus as well as relevant questionnaires. This assessment requires access to a Muse brain sensing headband which you can receive a 15% discount on below.
